Following on from my post yesterday on climate change here is a very interesting video from my colleague Linda McAvan, taken from yesterday's debate in the European Parliament. It shows just how similar the BNP and UKIP are and how out of touch with public opinion they are.

these parties really need to wake up! It is absolutely devastating to think that these people have been elected to the European parliament when they are clearly so uneducated on the subjects on which they campaign, debate and vote. I do believe that it is the big businesses that need to take more action as they have a far larger carbon footprint than joe public, but we do not see climate change as a scam. Atleast there are people like Glenis Willmot and Linda McAvan in parliament who can shoot them down when needed.
